this and that...

Been spending a lot of time on Face book. Even Mark has conformed and joined. Actually, he kept getting emails from former classmates asking to be his friend. Jeez I thought they already were, friends I mean. Mark has been getting sentimental since he attended his class reunion last fall so we thought this would be a good opportunity to catch up with people. It has... I even keep in touch with some of you all my blog friends. It's fun... BUT he is getting the same reaction as at the reunion and on Classmate.com...girls proclaiming their crush on him from the past...UGH! At least they don't say, "we don't remember YOU" to me...although one girl thought I was his sister.

Too bad fans he's mine!

My spring break is in two weeks and I am so ready. I finally spent some fun time with the grandsons, we ran around the yard, played hide and seek, and ate burgers. Dayton had to sit next to me, I am still Grandma Roses.

I hope to keep them a few nights over break. It's so hard on the weekends because I have to be at Mrs. H's house bright and early at 8:00 am every Saturday and Sunday morning.

The weather is finally getting warmer and it's easier for me to have the boys here if we can go outside. Mark works nights and three boys can get pretty loud. His job is going wonderfully and they have added benefits of a retirement and overtime. He still has yet to get back pay from the former job, but it's all in court so in due time...

Otherwise things are great. Trying to avoid all the post winter bugs going around. So far strep and puking are the top two ... a couple of kids have been out a week or better. Last year at this time I got a horrid bug that lasted all of my spring break. Not this year I've been spraying and keeping my hands doctor fresh clean. No way am I wasting a minute of my break being sick!

i hope you have a warm and fun and happy spring break and get lots of time with the boys.....
i had to smile at the thought of Mark having 30 yr old "crushes" coming out of the woodwork. You ought to post a pic of him in high school so we can see what he looked like.

Hmmm If anything happened to me before Gary... I would hate to think of some of the women that would come around. He has a funny personality and some of them just want the security of a man. Hate to say that... but hey! it is true. I took Gary to my class reunion but I never went with any of the boys in my high school. lol We had a larger town 4 miles south and I went with those city boys. lol My parents ran a cafe in that town. Hope you stay well. Gary is sicker than a dog right now. Blessings, Janie

I keep hearing so much about facebook... everyone is over there I hear. Yes we've had a lot of fever and stuff here too.
We are trying to minimize as much as possible... I'm forever cleaning. Today I aired out the whole house again. I've been letting this lovely spring air pour in the windows and it smells so nice and refreshing after a long winter. I'm playing catch up with journals due to the wrestling slide show taking all my time up but it's finally done. So nice to stop in and say hi!!! Hug those grandchildren for me!
